The Breakfast Bowl Bonanza

It might be a little overdone by now, especially in the online world, but I couldn’t not add my personal breakfast smoothie bowl recipe to the mix. It is super easy, cheap and doesn’t involve excessive amounts of bananas or superfood ingredients that you know you should eat, but don’t know why.

You will need

– 1 banana

– A handful or two of frozen berries/fruit of your choice

( I highly recommend the following combinations: raspberries and mango, blueberries and raspberries, pineapple and strawberries)

– A splash of almond or coconut milk

(or water works, but might make it a bit more “bland”)

And that’s it.

If you want to add some more fancy to your bowl, throw in some chia seeds, shredded coconut, coconut oil or even a spoon of nut butter. And if you do have any superfood powders – go crazy and add that! Top with whatever you want. I usually do granola, chia seeds, coconut and whatever fruits or berries I have on hand.

Really though, the blend works just as well as a smoothie through a straw (add some more liquid for it to be easily drinkable) as it does in a bowl with toppings.

Enjoy, fellow brekkie bowlers!
